Climate Change & Environment

Bangladesh Is One of The Countries Most Vulnerable to Climate Change, And RDF Is Determined to Stand with Communities on The Frontlines. Our Focus Includes Supporting Farmers, Coastal Populations, And Families Living on The Edges of Riverbanks to Develop Resilience Against Floods, Cyclones, Salinity, And Erosion. We Believe in The Power of Nature to Heal, Which Is Why Reforestation and Mangrove Protection Are Central to Our Vision. By Planting Trees And Restoring Green Cover, We Not Only Reduce Carbon Emissions but Also Create Natural Shields Against Storms.

RDF Also Believes in Preparedness. Early Warning Systems, School Safety Drills, Community Volunteers, And Cyclone Shelters Can Save Lives. That Is Why Disaster Risk Management Is a Core Area of Action. At The Same Time, We Plan to Promote Clean Renewable Energy, Bringing Solar Power to Households, Schools, And Clinics in Off-Grid Rural Areas, So Families Can Rely on Affordable and Sustainable Light.

In Urban Slums, Where the Poor Often Live in Harsh Conditions, RDF Intends to Upgrade Communities with Clean Water, Sanitation, Waste Management, And Plastic Recycling Initiatives. Alongside This, We Want to Provide Livelihood Support to Slum Youth and Women, So That Poverty Does Not Define Their Future.
